Outdoor Adventure Activities

Outdoor and Adventurous activities are a great way for participants to develop and build skills away from their everyday environment.  

Leaders are frequently surprised by the abilities and interest shown by 'poorly performing' or ‘badly behaved’ individuals when in the outdoors, and by the extent to which Outdoor Learning has awakened their potential.

Taking part in Outdoor and Adventurous activities provides such an altered environment for learning that children who typically struggle as learners often become enthused and competent as a result.

Participants of all ages and abilities frequently report personal breakthroughs when taking part in adventurous activities and surprising themselves.

In this section of the Venture Team Building site, you'll find a number of resources to help with your development as an instructor. These tips and tools will hopefully give you a better understanding of the activities you are providing and help with the overall structure of your sessions.
